Why Do I need a home inspection?
How can a home inspection help me?
Q: What is a home inspection?
A: By definition, a home inspection is a "visual, non-invasive, home systems and components assessment." What this means is that we visually inspect home systems and components, and determine if the systems are o.k. or need monitoring or repairs.
We then produce a detailed report, for our client, stating any systems and components we inspected that are found needing immediate major repair and provide recommendations to correct, monitor or further evaluate by appropriate persons (i.e.: electrician, roofer, painter, carpenter, etc.). The report is written in narrative form and is easy to read. We provide a "Summary Report" which lists any items found needing immediate major repair. The "Full Report" contains all items we inspected and a summary of their conditions.
Q: Why do I need a home inspection?
A: To get an impartial evaluation done on the home and gain a better understanding of its condition.
Q: How can a home inspection help me?
A: If you are buying a home, a home inspection gives you an effective tool to help you make an informed buying decision.
A: If you are selling your home, a pre-sale home inspection gives you a powerful marketing tool. You can give inspection report copies to potential buyers.
